Art on the Lake is an art festival that is held at Copper Creek Lake Park along the Gay Lea Wilson Trail in Pleasant Hill, IA. The festival is a family friendly event that is free to attend and features music, food, kids’ crafts, and 50 to 75 artists. Art on the Lake promotes the arts in the community and supports artists throughout the year. To kick off and provide local awareness to the National Arts in Education Week, the second annual Art on the Lake Festival will be held on September 16th, 2017.
Art on the Lake is truly focused on art awareness and engaging the community in the arts. We do this by giving the artists a platform to showcase their works of art and build a client base, at no cost to the artist. This allows for the focus to truly be on the art. Parking and admission are also free to the public. This is a family friendly environment with an upscale vibe!
